About me

Lawrence is currently our President of the Association and a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 40 years of national and international experience in the construction industry. He has worked throughout the United Kingdom, South Africa, and New Zealand in both professional practice and contracting at a senior level. Lawrence’s career has been wide and varied in all facets in vertical, horizontal, oil and gas as well as with the electrical contracting industries. Lawrence set up Commercial Management Services Limited as sole Director and practitioner in 2020, specialising in all aspects of construction commercial management. Lawrence’s dispute resolution experience includes drafting, negotiating contractual claims right through to being an expert witness on three separate occasions. In 2018 he undertook the post-graduate paper at Massey University in Construction Adjudication.
